Tetraimaging LLC
Advanced Medical Imaging Technology for Radiotherapy and Diagnostic Applications
About Tetraimaging
Founded in 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri, Tetraimaging LLC is a pioneering medical imaging technology company now headquartered at Stony Brook University. We specialize in developing next-generation imaging systems for radiotherapy and radiography, with strong academic collaborations including Washington University School of Medicine. Our innovative solutions have been supported by over $2 million in NIH SBIR awards.
Core Technologies

Tetrahedron Beam Computed Tomography (TBCT)
A revolutionary compact volumetric CT system designed for point-of-care imaging in otolaryngology clinics. TBCT employs a linear array of discrete X-ray sources and detector arrays, forming a tetrahedron volume that delivers superior image quality compared to traditional cone-beam CT systems with a smaller clinical footprint.

FLASH Radiotherapy QA Devices
Ultra-fast dose rate radiation detectors and safety systems supporting quality assurance in FLASH radiotherapy. Our multilayer strip ion chamber (MLSIC) device measures critical characteristics of proton FLASH beams including spot position, profile, energy, and absolute dose for this cutting-edge cancer treatment modality.

Proton Imaging Systems
Advanced devices designed to enhance precision in proton therapy through improved imaging capabilities. We're developing novel proton imagers for comprehensive quality assurance, proton radiography, and proton CT to advance the accuracy and effectiveness of proton-based cancer treatments.
